Salvatore Sapienza followed in the steps of his father, Nino, who opened the original New York location in 1990. Sal came to Charlotte to share 30+ years of family pizza and pasta recipes.
Pizza was soo good! They offer them by the slice and have a couple different vegetarian options. They offer to add balsamic on the Margarita pizza and I got it added to the Mushroom pizza also because of how good it tasted
Definitely one of the best slices I've found in the CLT. Although it wouldn't hold up against a true NY slice (the crust needs some work), it's def a solid pizza and worth a try. Great tasting cheese and the perfect amount of sauce.
This pizza was so good! I can't remember the last time we didn't have pizza left over. I ordered for pick up and the staff was nice enough to bring my order out to my since i had 2 children in the car. Great customer service and even better pizza...
On a weekend getaway in Uptown Charlotte and ordered pickup for their Supreme Pizza! Couldn't wait to get to my room to take a bite. It smelled and tasted so good. Will order again if in town.
We order from sapienza at least one a week. The menu is extensive and the food is out of this world! Pizza is amazing, eggplant parm sub is amazing, eggplant on the pizza is amazing. Even the French fries are top notch and you get a lot for the price...
